We believe you have a right to know exactly what information we collect about you, why we collect it, and how we use it. This policy explains all of that in plain language — no legal jargon, no deliberately confusing paragraphs.
When you use Reddybook Pro, you share certain information with us — some of it you give us directly when you register, and some of it is collected automatically as you use the platform. This Privacy Policy explains all of that honestly and completely. We are not trying to hide anything. We collect what we need to run the platform properly and keep it secure, and nothing beyond that.
If you read nothing else on this page, read this: we do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third-party data brokers. Your information is used to run your account, process your transactions, keep the platform secure, and contact you about things relevant to your account. That is it.
We collect information in two ways — information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the platform. Here is a clear breakdown of both.
| Information | When We Collect It | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Full Name | At registration | To identify your account and verify your identity |
| Mobile Number | At registration | For OTP verification, account security, and support contact |
| Date of Birth | At registration | To confirm you meet the 18+ age requirement |
| Bank / UPI Details | When you deposit or withdraw | To process financial transactions accurately |
| Communication with Support | When you contact us | To resolve your issue and improve our service quality |
| Information | How It Is Collected |
|---|---|
| Device type and operating system | Automatically when you access the platform |
| IP address and approximate location | Logged with each session for fraud prevention |
| Login timestamps and session duration | Recorded automatically for account security |
| Betting and transaction history | Generated as you use the platform |
| Browser type and app version | Collected for technical troubleshooting |
We do not collect government ID documents, PAN cards, Aadhaar numbers, or biometric data at the account registration stage. If identity verification is ever required for a specific purpose — such as for a large withdrawal — we will communicate exactly what is needed and why.
Every piece of information we collect has a specific, legitimate reason. Here is what we use your information for.
Your name, mobile number, and date of birth are the foundation of your account. Without them we cannot create your betting ID, verify your identity, or link your transactions to the right account. Your bank and UPI details are used exclusively to process the deposits and withdrawals you initiate — we do not store these details beyond what is necessary for transaction processing.
We log session data, IP addresses, and device information primarily for security purposes. This helps us detect unusual login patterns — like someone accessing your account from a different city on a new device — and flag them for verification before any damage is done. Security monitoring is one of the most important uses of the data we collect automatically.
Every deposit and withdrawal you make creates a transaction record. We maintain complete, accurate transaction history for every account because this is what allows us to investigate and resolve any payment dispute quickly and fairly. Without this history, resolving a "my deposit did not arrive" query would be guesswork rather than fact-finding.
When you contact our support team, the information in your account — registration details, transaction history, login records — is what allows the support agent to actually help you efficiently. Without access to this data, every support interaction would start from scratch with no context.
As an online platform handling real financial transactions, we have certain obligations around record-keeping under applicable Indian law. Some of the information we retain — particularly transaction records — is kept in part to meet these requirements, not just for operational purposes.
All data on the Reddybook Pro platform is stored on secured servers. Access to user data is restricted to authorised staff who need it to do their jobs — support agents, finance team members processing transactions, and security staff monitoring for fraudulent activity. No one else has routine access to your personal information.
Financial transactions — deposits and withdrawals — are processed through encrypted connections. Your UPI details and bank account information are handled in compliance with payment processing standards and are not stored in plain text anywhere in our systems.
Your account password is never stored in readable form. We use standard cryptographic hashing so that even if someone gained access to our database, your actual password would not be visible or usable.
Despite all reasonable precautions, no internet-connected system can guarantee 100% security against all possible threats. We will notify you promptly if a security incident affects your account or your data.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. Here is a complete and honest list of the circumstances under which your information might be shared with a third party.
When you make a deposit or withdrawal via UPI, the transaction passes through payment processing services — the same banking infrastructure that handles any UPI payment in India. Your payment details are shared with these services only to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. They are bound by their own regulatory obligations regarding data handling.
If we receive a valid legal order — from a court, from a regulatory authority, or from law enforcement — requiring us to share specific user information, we will comply with that order. Where legally permitted, we will notify you if this happens. We do not share user data proactively with law enforcement without a formal legal requirement.
If we believe an account is being used for fraudulent activity that could harm other users or the platform, we may share relevant information with financial institutions or fraud prevention services to investigate and prevent that harm.
If Reddybook Pro were ever acquired by or merged with another company, user information would transfer as part of that business transaction. If this were to happen, we would notify users before their data was transferred and before it became subject to a different privacy policy.
We use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the platform work properly and to improve your experience. Here is what they do and how you can control them.
These are required for the platform to function. They manage your login session so you stay logged in between page loads, and they handle security tokens that protect against certain types of attacks. You cannot opt out of essential cookies and continue using the platform — they are necessary for basic functionality.
These remember choices you have made on the platform — like language settings or display preferences. They make your experience more consistent without you needing to set things up again every time you visit.
We use basic analytics to understand how users move through the platform — which sections are visited most, where users spend time, where they encounter problems. This data is used in aggregate form, not linked to individual user profiles, and helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through the settings menu. Deleting essential cookies will log you out of your session. If you use the Android app rather than a browser, cookie management works differently — the app uses secure session tokens rather than browser cookies.
You have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Here is what you can ask us to do, and how to do it.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about your account at any time. Contact our support team via WhatsApp or email with your account ID and a request for a data summary. We will respond within a reasonable time period.
If any information in your account is incorrect — an old phone number, a name spelling error — you can request that we update it. Contact support with the correct information and we will update the record after verifying your identity.
You can request the closure and deletion of your account. We will process your request after confirming your identity and settling any outstanding balances. Note that some transaction records may be retained after account closure for legal and compliance purposes, even after personal identifying information is removed.
If you have provided consent for any specific use of your information beyond what is necessary to run your account, you can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any use of your information that occurred before the withdrawal.
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in India. We would prefer you contact us first so we have the chance to resolve the issue directly, but the option to escalate to a regulatory authority is yours.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Here is the general approach.
Account registration information — kept for the duration of your account and for a period after closure required by applicable regulations.
Transaction records — financial transaction histories are retained for a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction, in line with standard financial record-keeping requirements in India. This applies even if your account is closed.
Support communications — records of your interactions with our support team are retained for the duration of your account and for a period afterwards. These records help us handle any future disputes or references to previous conversations.
Security and session logs — IP address logs and session data are retained for a shorter period — typically 90 days — unless there is a specific security or investigation reason to retain them longer.
When data reaches the end of its retention period, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked back to you as an individual.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — to reflect changes in how the platform operates, changes in applicable laws, or based on feedback from users. When we make changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes — ones that materially affect how we use your information — we will notify you directly via SMS to your registered number or through a notification when you next log in. We will not apply significant changes retroactively without giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to close your account if you disagree with the changes.
Continuing to use the platform after a privacy policy update means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, contact us to discuss your options or to close your account.
